Ks Lash and Beauty Bar WA
Ks Lash and Beauty Bar, Washington

The Ks Lash and Beauty Bar owner of Buckley Washington found me in the veteran-owned business directory and called me about doing SEO for her new business. She had started a website on one of the monthly services but wasn’t happy with it, so we did a re-design using WordPress & Elementor. After the new website was up, we ran a complete site audit.

On-page optimization, of course, was completed when developing the new site. We optimized Google Business Profile and social media profiles. The next step was getting the Local Citations, backlinks, and blog content.

Starting Stats:

Website by: Larry O Miller, SEO After Coffee
URL Age: 1.3 years
Google My Business: Verified by Owner
SEO at startup: None
Google 3-Pack – No Listing (Not on google map)
Google Page Ranking – Page 16 on Desktop Search (Organic Search Terms)

The Challenge

The owner wanted to bring more customers in for her eyelash extension services and Sugar Waxing from the salon website. (more services added since). She requested a redesign of the website, so we performed that first. The domain name was over 1-year old. However, no one had started SEO.

The Solution

Local SEO

We started by increasing their local target market with Local Citations, Keywords, Content Writing, Social Media activity, and links. We reached out to a real customer base to increase engagement.

Google Business Profile

Statically updating Google Business Profile was needed. Our agency optimized the listing, trained personnel on some things they could do to help with the optimization. Optimization helped with ranking and to reach out to prospective clients online.

Content Creation

The Content Manager added several pages to their website with unique content that detailed what the salon had to offer in the beauty industry. By utilizing targeted keywords, we could drive more traffic to their website. A Landing page was developed for another area of Washington state.
